Voor de afdeling Technische Dienst op de locatie Amsterdam (onderdeel van de Facilitaire Dienst) zijn wij per direct op zoek naar een:

 

Medewerker Facilitaire Dienst (1,0 fte)
Campus Amsterdam

Als medewerker Algemene Dienst werk je zelfstandig binnen het team van de Facilitaire Dienst op de locatie Amsterdam. De direct leidinggevende is de Facilitair Manager welke wordt bijgestaan door de Technische dienst medewerkers. Samen met de collega’s van de Front Office ben je verantwoordelijk voor het dagelijks onderhoud aan het schoolgebouw en de campus (het Skotel).

 

 

Taken & verantwoordelijkheden

  • Verrichten van kleine onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan het gebouw en installaties.
  • Regelen en uitvoeren interne verhuizingen.
  • Inkopen t.b.v. facilitair bedrijf.
  • Verzorgen van afvalstromen.
  • Uitvoeren van klein schilderwerk en loodgieter-, timmer- en elektrawerkzaamheden;
  • Afstellen, uitvoeren en controleren van audio, keukenapparatuur, elektrische voorzieningen, brandmelders, vuilwaterpompen, hang- en sluitwerk, loodgieterwerk en timmerwerk;
  • Oplossen en lokaliseren van storingen aan o.a. CV, koel- en vriesinstallaties en keukenapparatuur;
  • Contacten met klanten en leveranciers.
  • Onderhouden van technische kennis en selecteren van relevante informatie voor Hotelschool Den Haag.

 

 

Profiel kandidaat

  • MBO werk-en denkniveau op het gebied van de techniek;
  • Aantal jaren werkervaring in een relevant werkveld;
  • Ervaring met het werken in een team;
  • Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;
  • In bezit van rijbewijs B;
  • Kennis van Microsoft Office (o.a. Word en Excel);
  • Flexibele instelling;
  • Klantgericht en dienstverlenend;
  • Affiniteit met de gastvrijheidsector en het onderwijs.

 

Arbeidvoorwaarden

Afhankelijk van ervaring en opleiding wordt via een uitzendbureau een salaris geboden tussen

€ 1.750,- en € 2.200,- bruto per maand bij een fulltime aanstelling.

Department International Admissions Office

The department International Admissions Office consists of 2 Admissions Officers. The department is responsible for information provision and for the selection and admittance of potential (Dutch and international) students. They inform students, their parents and student counsellors about the study programme.  The department also processes the applications (verifying (inter)national diplomas), invites candidates for the selection day, processes the results of the selection days and determines which candidate is suitable for admittance to the bachelor programme. They inform the admitted students about their start and apply for their visa if applicable. Last but not least the department also keeps up the periodic marketing reports and maintains the Admissions section on the website www.hotelschool.nl

Trainee International Admission Officer 

 

Tasks & responsibilities

 

You are mostly operational active. The department International Admissions Office is small. It is possible for the trainee to get an insight in all the department’s core activities. Therefore you are always welcome to research our procedures and processes.

 

 

 

General tasks:
· Daily email handling and set up mailings in English;
· Create and maintain the student files (electronically and hard copy);
· Independently hold consultation hours by telephone (inform about the curriculum, admission requirements, procedures application, general information about the organisation);
· Contact other institutions e.g. Nuffic, Immigration and Naturalisation Service;
· Prepare and follow-up (inter)national selection days.

 

Specific tasks:
· Generate marketing data and write a marketing report;
· Participate during selection days;

 

· Research the efficiency of the Admissions procedure;

 

· Attend meetings;

 

· Recruit a suitable trainee for the following period.

 

 

 

Profile candidate

 

  • 3rd or 4th  year HBO International Business & Languages / International Business Management student or similar study;

  • Interested in the hospitality industry;

  • Likes structure and administration;

  • Can handle confidential information with discretion;

  • Accurate and stress-resistant;

  • Independent, but also team player;

  • Service-oriented;

  • Good communication and social skills;

  • Can organise and plan;

  • Representative;

  • Good command of Dutch and English, both written and oral;

Quality Assurance Trainee

Hotelschool The Hague has over 1900 (Dutch and international) students and 200 employees including highly educated and experienced lecturers and instructors. The curriculum of the school’s bachelor programme is taught exclusively in English and is based on a unique didactic concept. At the beginning of 2012 this programme achieved ‘excellent’ scores on 11 out of 16 standards in the accreditation. In September 2014 our new Master programme in Hospitality Management started. E-learning courses for the hospitality industry are offered via Consultancy & Training, a subsidiary company.

 

Activities Quality Assurance Trainee
We offer you an internship as an assistant Quality Officer for a period of at least 6 months. The trainee will be assigned independent tasks and will be supervised by the Manager Shared Services. You will get the opportunity to develop yourself on a personal and organizational level and be part of an enthusiastic and professional team of young people. You are proficient at conducting internal and external audits, coordinate the execution of customer satisfaction surveys, process the results and draw up the internal report. You will be entrusted with the organization of the ISO 9001 structure as well as with the HTH-quality-assurance system. The internship also encompasses the finalization of some uncharted processes. Finally, you are competent to inform, support and advice on quality improvement.

 

Profile
The Quality Assurance Trainee:

  • Is currently following a Bachelor programme in Quality Assurance Management, Business – or Public Administration.

  • Has excellent communication skills

  • Has good advisory and analytical skills

  • Is aware of recent developments in the international (higher) education;

  • Is enthusiastic

  • Has knowledge of and affinity with ICT applications in the field of Quality Assurance; combines digital skills with creativity.

  • Has a strong affinity with the hospitality industry and has an international focus;

  • Has an excellent command of Dutch and English

Internship fee €350,- gross a month including travel expenses.

Activities Educational Trainee
We offer an internship for a period of at least 5 months. During this internship the trainee will get the opportunity to further develop him/herself and participate in interesting projects regarding curriculum innovation and blended learning. The trainee will be assigned independent tasks and will be supervised by the Education Specialist. One of the main activities of the Educational Trainee will be to enhance the use of technology in education and provide hands-on support to teachers and course developers to implement blended learning tools and approaches. Next to the ongoing activities, there will be room for conducting an independent research project for a thesis, on a related topic.

 

Profile
The Educational Trainee:

  • is currently following a Bachelor’s or Master’s studies; preferably MSc in Education;

  • has good advisory, analytical and presentation skills, is persuasive and possesses excellent communication skills (oral and written);

  • is aware of recent developments in international (higher) education;

  • has knowledge of and affinity with ICT applications and blended learning solutions in the field of education; combines digital skills with creativity.

  • has knowledge of professional development of teachers;

  • has a strong affinity with the hospitality industry and has an international focus;

  • has an excellent command of Dutch and English.
