Cleanliness Counts Programme

Hotelschool The Hague and Diversey have partnered up in an effort to carry out a joint research project. The project, The Cleanliness Counts Programme, demonstrates how improvements in cleanliness in key areas of guest room enhance; guest experience and satisfaction, guest loyalty, and even employee motivation. This leads to additional room revenue, a competitive advantage, brand protection and even reduced operating costs.
 
The cleanliness programme itself includes guest and housekeeping surveys and audit processes that continuously improve standards, recommendations resulting from the survey, coverage of housekeeping training, and explanation of efficient procedures, tools, chemicals and support materials. Sustainability continues to gain momentum in the hospitality industry, and hoteliers are seeking ways to differentiate their businesses in regards to their sustainability efforts.
