HBO-Monitor results: 94% of Hotelschool Graduates would recommend Hotelschool The Hague to family and friends.

Every year, the Research centre for Education and Labour market (Researchcentrum voor Onderwijs en Arbeidsmarkt, ROA) researches to what extend the HBO education suits the labour market requirements. In total 93 percent Hotelschool graduates filled in the questionnaire.
 
A remarkable conclusion of the survey is that recent graduates of Hotelschool The Hague are more satisfied with their education than the average HBO student:

  • 79% was (very) satisfied with the education (77% in 2012) to an average of 65% nationwide.
  • 90% would choose the education at the same institute (84% in 2012) to an average of 70% nationwide.
  • 94% would recommend the education to family/friends (85% in 2012) to an average of 66% nationwide.

 
A second important factor was that our recent graduates are very satisfied with the lecturers:

  • 74% is (very) satisfied with the lecturer’s up-to-date knowledge on the professional field to an average of 65% nationwide.
  • 78% is (very) satisfied with the involvement of the lecturers to an average of 67% nationwide.
  • 67% is (very) satisfied with the inspirational ability of the lecturers to an average of 54% nationwide.

Last but not least, the survey showed that Hotelschool The Hague is better at preparing students for entering the industry than other HBO-schools
in The Netherlands: 80% (60% in 2012) strongly agree that the education is a good base to enter the industry to an average of 50% nationwide.
