Hospitality Magazine article

The Research Centre is currently designing a strategy to have both HTH students and the industry benefit from its research findings. Unlike many other industries with strong links to academia or to their own R&D departments, young industries as Hospitality and Tourism are not always aware of the value and the use of new knowledge that is being developed at schools and universities. We want to promote research as a foundation for well informed (as opposed to intuitive) business decisions. This means that the Research Centre will not only publish its findings in academic journals, but also in trade journals. Anna de Visser-Amundson’s article that just came out in Hospitality Magazine is an excellent example of how research can contribute to sound strategic decisions.
