NSE results 2015: Hotelschool The Hague students very satisfied with their study programme

Today, Studiekeuze 123 published the NSE results for all HBO institutions in The Netherlands. Hotelschool The Hague students are very satisfied and rank the school amongst the Top 3 of all universities and HBO institutions. To the question ‘Would you recommend programme to friends, family or colleagues?’ students graded Hotelschool The Hague 4.57 out of 5, up from 4.51 last year.  

The general atmosphere in the study programme is rated 4.30 out of 5. The study programme in general is graded 4.24 out of 5, which is up from 4.20 last year. In total 26,2% of all students studying at Hotelschool The Hague filled in the survey. The NSE ranking is the basis of a number of academic rankings in The Netherlands.

Hotelschool The Hague is particularly pleased that the theme ‘career preparation’ was rated higher than in 2014, as it is important for Hotelschool The Hague to best prepare students for the industry. The hotel school improved on all three criteria; acquiring skills for professional practice, practical focus of the study and link to professional practice. In the ‘content’ theme Hotelschool The Hague also scored high on the career preparation questions. The match between the study programme and work experience, and the degree to which you can apply what you learn in your work situation, both scored the maximum score, 5 out of 5.

From the 17 themes measured, Hotelschool The Hague scored above the national average in 14 themes. Next to career preparation, other strong themes against benchmark include general skills, our lecturers, the study load, and our scientific skills. The largest improvements versus last year were recorded in academic guidance/counselling, study information, study facilities and quality care.
