In February 2019, QS World University Rankings presented their rankings by Subject 2019, revealing the best universities for 48 different academic subjects. In June 2019, Hotelschool The Hague has been ranked No. 4 on the list of the best hospitality and hotel management schools in Europe for 2019, according to a new study published by CEOWORLD magazine. The CEOWORLD magazine ranking is unique among international higher education institution surveys, as it evaluates schools in terms of the full scope of their missions, including global reputation and influence, recruiter feedback, job placement rate, admission eligibility, specialisation, and academic reputation. Hotelschool The Hague is ranked amongst the top 5 International Hospitality Management Schools by TNS Global, a world leader in market research, global market information and business analysis. The primary purpose of the 2013 survey was to establish the relative ranking of the various international hospitality management schools providing university-level programmes from which employers are likely to recruit staff for luxury international hotel companies. Best Public Hotel School, by Keuzegids 2017
Hotelschool The Hague has been named best public hotel school in The Netherlands . It is the second consecutive year that we have received this award. The research done by Keuzegids HBO 2017 shows that Hotelschool The Hague has the highest scores out of all public hotel schools in The Netherlands. Read more

Best Master in Business Administration by Keuzegids 2017
Hotelschool The Hague’s Master in International Hospitality Management has been voted Best Master in Business Administration 2017 in The Netherlands by 'Keuzegids Masters 2017'. The one-year MBA Programme is praised for the best connection with the professional field and its exceptional facilities.

Top 3 All universities & HBO schools in The Netherlands, by National Student Survey 2017
The 2017 National Student’s Survey (Nationale Studenten Enquete) results for all HBO institutions in The Netherlands have been published. On 12 out of the in total 17 measured themes, Hotelschool The Hague scored the highest of all public hotel schools. The themes give an insight in the general satisfaction of the current students of the school and Hotelschool The Hague students are very satisfied. The themes consist of amongst others the contents of the education (score 3.96 on a scale of 5), general skills (score of 4.31 on a scale of 5), the preparation to a career (score of 4.30 on a scale of 5). This year, two new themes have been added on which Hotelschool The Hague also has the highest scores; the pursuit of excellence (score of 3.81 on a scale of 5) and internationalisation (score of 4.42 on a scale of 5).

Hospitality Awards
In both 2015 and 2014 Hotelschool The Hague was nominated as one of the three finalists in the category ‘Best Hospitality Management School’during the International Hospitality Awards. During the International Hospitality Awards in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2018, Hotelschool The Hague was also nominated as finalist in the category ‘Best Educational Innovation’ for the courses Lycar (Launching Your Career), MO Charity Event, the renowned Outdoor Programme and P.A.T.E. In 2017, alumna Claudia Pronk won an esteemed award in the category 'Best Hotelier'. In 2018, alumna Ellen Schmid won an esteemed award in the category ‘Best Professional Success’. 


Our educational programme has been awarded 11 out of 16 ‘excellents’ in the most recent audit of Dutch and Flemish universities by the Dutch/Flemish Accreditation Committee. Hotelschool The Hague is a state funded school and therefore the costs are very affordable. We are very proud that we manage to deliver the highest quality, as the recent survey by TNS Global shows. In addition to our strong accreditation, our students and alumni win many international awards in recognition of their achievements and talents.
