Sustainable Hospitality Challenge

For the past six years, Hotelschool The Hague has organised the Genio Worldwide Innovation Summit. During this summit, students from top international hotel schools were challenged by exciting real-life industry cases. They then pitched these cases to a prominent jury, consisting of top CEO’s and Vice Presidents from the hospitality industry.

The challenge has now moved to an exciting direction with sustainability as the recurring theme. In order to support and enhance the development of sustainable hospitality, Genio will gain a bigger platform by combining the best of innovation, sustainability and talent to become the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge.

In a partnership with the International Tourism Partnership and the International Hospitality Investment Forum, we are taking this student challenge to the world stage of the IHIF in Berlin.

The goal of this challenge is to accelerate the development of sustainable hospitality. The most renowned hotel schools will work with the most respected Technical Universities around the world. Together they will work on solutions and innovations which may lead to actual changes in our industry.
