About the Genio Worldwide Innovation Summit
Hotelschool The Hague has organised the Genio Worldwide Innovation Summit on an annual basis for the last four years. During the Genio Worldwide Innovation Summit, students from top international hotel schools will be challenged by an industry-related case, which will need to be analysed prior to the summit. Students will experience unique networking opportunities, as well as multiple chances to discuss the latest trends and news in the industry. In the last years, students have been working on cases for a.o. Schiphol and Ramada.

The Student Challenge is always very educational and fun. The jury members not only inspire our own students, but also the students from the other hotel schools from around the world. The concepts that are developed by the various teams always inspire and impress the audience and the jury members.

Industry Events

With the establishment of the Industry Relation Office, Hotelschool The Hague chooses to actively encourage students, faculty and employees to adopt an outward focus and to further improve the fit between school and industry, research, theory & practice as well as align her curricula with the changing needs of the industry.

Industry Exchange
The Industry Exchange is an initiative aimed at encouraging the exchange of knowledge between Hotelschool alumni, Industry and faculty in an interactive fashion. Four times per year we organise these Industry Exchange events, located alternated between our two campuses in The Hague and Amsterdam. The Industry Exchange events are meant to share trends, exchange knowledge and insights, and to network. The activities range from a conference with inspiring guest speakers to a career market, or a combination.  At career markets, companies can present themselves to the students and students get to experience the wide range of companies an industry has to offer. Guest speakers have experience and knowledge to share, the audience get the opportunity to ask questions and learn from them.
